mise en place

Set inside the industrial-chic Duggal Greenhouse in Brooklyn Navy Yard, this immersive Pinterest experience transforms the idea of “everything in its place” into a journey through taste, texture, and inspiration. The journey follows simple ingredients on their path from pin to plate, inviting guests to ride, taste, create, and be inspired.

Activities

The journey begins in the Market Lounge, styled like a surreal supermarket, filled with shelves of staples and playful design (think tinned fish coffee tables). Guests then board automated carts for the Mise en Pin experience and glide through a visual tapestry of pins with ingredients aligning to reveal the bigger picture, a Pin-worthy dish. At the Pinterest Kitchen Bistro, visitors order curated dishes (sponsored by Farm to People) using a custom Pinterest POS system and build recipe boards on the spot. Guests are surrounded by well-stocked pantry shelving seemlessly integrated with scrolling screens of Pins. Every guest leaves with a printed pantry list and the tools to bring “mise en place” home with them.
