golden hour
Set within Madison Square Park, this immersive, multi-sensory exhibition brings people into the mind and environment of a bee to gain a new appreciation for the healing honey they make. The experience follows the bee’s journey through the seasons and invites guests to see, hear, taste, and even nap like a bee.
Activities
Visitors will start with Spring, where they help build the hive by melting warm wax into jars, laying the foundation for honeycomb. In Summer, they step into a digital meadow of musical flowers, each one humming with hidden nectar. By pressing a petal, they quiet the bloom, just as bees do when sensing the perfect time to gather. In Fall, guests follow glowing arrows across the ground, performing a lively waggle dance to communicate their discovery of a new home. Finally, in Winter, visitors are invited to taste the honey they helped bring to life, then curl up in oversized hay-filled flower pods for a well-earned nap, resting like bees as the season winds down.
